Mindfulness
is about living in the moment and letting go of thoughts from the past and future. The practice of mindfulness involves deliberately focusing your mind on the present moment without judgment.  Mindfulness can be very beneficial when trying to cope with depression, anxiety, stress and emotional regulation.  Training your mind to slow down and be in the moment can be very challenging and takes a lot of practice. A therapist can help explain the concepts involved in mindfulness to make your practice more effective.
